We are currently seeking a professional, details oriented and dependable Accounts Executive to join our team in Singapore.

As a Accounts Executive, you will be reporting to the Manager – Finance.

Accounts Executive ( AR / AP )- Position Overview

Accounts Receivable:

  • Handle daily receipts and ensure accounts receivables are timely processed and updated as per guidelines
  • Perform AR receipts to respective customer accounts and credit management report
  • Issuing of Credit Note / Debit Note
  • Matching all invoices with DO, PO and statement of account. Rotate filling.
  • Liaise and resolve discrepancies invoices with customers and sales personnel
  • Monitor and investigate daily/monthly cash/credit sales outstanding:
  1. Follow-up on long overdue accounts with customer’s statement of account
  2. Control customers’ credit limit and overdue account and release daily sales orders that held in system
  • Preparing export sales documentation
  • Sending out accounts documents to customers
  • Attend to internal/external customer enquiries and queries related to AR
  • Create and review new account for new customer
  • Perform company search with ACRA for new credit account application
  • Maintain postage records
  • Complete month-end closing as per stipulated timeline
  • Maintain and ensure timely closure of monthly receivable

Accounts Receivable:

  • Perform Accounts Payable (AP) activities which include :
  1. Reconciliation of statement of accounts
  2. Matching of supplier’s invoices (local creditors) with reception note in IBS
  3. Monitor and follow up unmatched Purchase Orders
  4. Reconcile error journal entries
  • Filing of accounting documents
  • Complete month-end closing as per stipulated timeline
  • Perform costing checking
  • Liase with internal and external auditors
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experiences

  • LCCI/Diploma/ITE in Accountancy
  • Minimum 1 year experience in AR/AP
  • Experience in trading environment preferred

Job Type:  Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 
 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (5 days a week)
