Corporate Communications Executive

The Corporate Communications Executive sits within the Group Corporate Department for Southeast Asia (SEA) zone, which is headquartered in Singapore.

The Group Corporate Department identifies opportunities and barriers to achieving company objectives and develops an approach to overcome the obstacles through the development of strategies, coordination and implementation of tactical plans. The department also oversees corporate and commercial communications including internal, external, advertising & promotions, sponsorship.

As a Corporate Communications Executive, you will be supporting the Corporate Development Manager in achieving the group objectives and also play a key role in facilitating key communication releases and sharing, as well as the organization of relevant corporate activities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop the corporate communication statement.
  • Manage corporate communications and branding across various online and print platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and industry magazines.
  • Maintain the corporate website including methods to deliver messages, clarity of information and ensuring that all content is current and relevant.
  • Provide consistent and timely information to external parties and employees through various communications channels.
  • Support internal and external communications strategy, write and disseminate publicity material, respond to inquiries from the public and media, and coordinate promotional events.
  • Assists executive leadership in developing presentations, speeches, and other important corporate messages.
  • Provides suggestions concerning graphics, message clarity, and press releases for preparation of the annual report.
  • Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the organization.
  • Develops, composes, distributes, and implements policies and guidelines to further develop the building and maintaining of a positive corporate brand.
  • Seek opportunities to enhance the reputation of the brand, and coordinate publicity events as required
  • Maintain records of media coverage and collate analytics and metrics
  • Assist in AGM events
  • Attend and transcribe meeting minutes for EXCO meetings
  • Assist in application and renewal company trademarks
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Marketing/Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for corporate and external publications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skill.
  • Ability to offer sound media relations advice to senior leadership.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and interpersonal skills.
  • Good artistic flair, creative and familiar with executing corporate identity, advertisements and corporate collaterals.
  • Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community.
  • Meticulous and highly motivated team player who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multitask
  • Knowledge of digital marketing will be an advantage
