Deputy Manager – Drone Programme

Join CAST Lab’s growing team in our new business division – Robotic Construction Monitoring (RCM). You can expect to work across multiple business functions to scale and transform the resulting processes and customer experience, and broaden your industry knowledge

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the UAV Operations Manual.
  • Carry out Drones and Associated Robotics / Sensors Maintenance.
  • Oversee the Aerial Permit application office and all related documentation.
  • Verify Methods Statements Risk Assessment for each Client Assignment.
  • Defining and validating Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out Safety Reviews.
  • Keeping the fleet ready for flight tests, troubleshooting and debugging drone systems in the office and out in the field.
  • Conduct periodic review of RCM’s Marketing and Brand Positioning needs
  • Support Management to establish short, mid and long-term business goals through a Digital Marketing Campaign with the support of RCM’s Media Consultants

Requirements

  • Background related to Aerospace Engineering
  • An appreciation and passion for robotics is a must
  • Good appreciation of relatable Drone Technologies and Remote Control Devices in the field for Survey, Inspection and Assets Monitoring
  • Needs CAAS Pilot Certifications
  • Needs Certifications for Construction, Petrol Chemical Plants and Shipyard Safety Induction
  • Needs Certifications for Confined Space
  • Engineering background and familiarity with Drone related flight systems, telemetry and associated control devices
  • Strong Understanding of the Local Drone Laws and Regulations
  • Experience in oil and gas, construction or marine industry will be an advantage
  • Minimum 3 Years of Digital and Content Marketing Experience
