We are currently seeking a professional, customer-service oriented, adaptable, and dependable Purchasing Executive to join our team in Singapore.

As a Purchasing Executive, who reports to the Manager – Purchasing,

your main goal involves positioning the company to be the first stop in mind of all customers for electric, control, lighting and safety solutions. Using your product knowledge and strong customer service skills, your responsibilities will include purchasing, inventory planning and sourcing activities. Teamwork is key as you also work with suppliers/vendors and other departments to support the achievement of sales, profit, and key performance indicator (KPI) targets in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. Purchasing Executive - Position Overview

  • Manage and control inventory level to optimize stock turnover
  • Prepare Review-Product-Requirement report
  • Coordinate and resolve order and delivering issues with suppliers
  • Provide purchasing support to sales request on key brands products
  • Prepare stock out report for management review
  • Update and maintain product and purchase information in IBS system

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline with engineering knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with strong knowledge of Excel to include V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Know the legislative, operational, logistical or administrative issues regarding to purchasing
  • Ability to work and thrive under pressure in fast-paced environment while being able to multi-task
  • Works cohesively as part of a team and has an enthusiastic and good team spirit

Job Type:  Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 
 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (5 days a week)
