Join our growing team of engineers in architecting solutions as we drive the digital transformation efforts of Tai Sin Group. Reporting to Head – Group IT, you can expect to work across multiple business functions to scale and transform the resulting processes and customer experience, furthering the competitive advantage of the Group.
As a member of the Group IT team, the candidate will fulfil and value-add to the information, process and operational needs of our users in their daily business activities through the development and support of the Group’s existing and new
digital applications.

• Design, develop, and document application development and its related phases including the conducting of user acceptance tests and the training of users
• Formulate the conceptual and detailed architecture for application development
• Determine operational feasibility of a digital application, including those of integration, through problem definition and the understanding of business requirements
• Demonstrate solutions by creating documentation, user guides and process flowcharts, ensuring compatibility with existing solutions and infrastructure
• Assist in post-implementation and continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and provide increased functionality
• Monitor existing systems in place and recommend improvements in processes and support strategies to meet evolving business needs
• Engage with internal stakeholders to identify routine and near-term needs and priorities
• Provide technical support to end users on software adopted by the Group
• Undertake and oversee backup and recovery procedures
• Oversee security provisions in developed software and implemented solutions
• Prepare reports required by the Group
• Support audit queries and comply with security and control policies in place
• Optimise the use of available IT resources

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science field or discipline
• Understanding in software development concepts and adapt to existing coding languages/databases used by the Group (RPGLE, Java, Javascript, PHP, HTML, C, SQL)
• Understanding in platform integration and API consumption
• Experience in cloud technologies or app development would be a plus (Azure)
• Knowledge in business processes and controls in manufacturing, supply-chain and/or service industries
• Experience in internal stakeholder engagement, including conducting user interviews and requirements gathering
• Work well in an agile project team and in an iterative approach, driven by stakeholder feedback and data insights
• Strong communication, organisational and documentation skills
• Willing to travel to various entities at different locations within the Group of Companies if required

i) Office hour: 8am – 5:30pm (5 days work)
ii) Successful candidate will be provided with relevant training.
